Kansbol Knife - Multi Mount Sheath

The long tradition of Scandinavian outdoor recreation makes Kansbol a reliable partner when the wilderness beckons. Whether you need to make wood splints for the fire, or need to skin a moose, this flexible model will perform. A knife designed in the true Morakniv spirit.

Kansbol brings you the best from two worlds. It has the flexibility of a lightweight knife, and the strength of a more robust model. This combination makes it a real all-round knife and a reliable partner in the forest, or when hiking, hunting or on the lake. The blade has been profile ground for increased precision and the spine grinding means the blade can be used with fire starter.

Our Multi-Mount is a versatile mounting solution that will take your Kansbol to the next level. It makes it possible to place and carry the knife practically anywhere you like and it's also compatible with the standardized MOLLE system. The Multi-Mount also has strategically placed holes and slots for different types of straps.

Features:

  • Knife with a 2.5 mm thick stainless steel blade that stays sharp for a long time; Blade has a semi-matte finish.
  • The 90° spine of the blade has been ground especially for use with a fire starter (sold separately).
  • Scandi grind makes it easy to keep sharp.
  • Handle with built-in click lock between sheath and handle prevents knife from falling out of sheath
  • Comes with a multi-mount system that can mount to most any bag or strap.
  • Hole in handle for fastening a lanyard or other gadget.

Specs:

  • Blade Thickness: 2.5 mm
  • Blade Length: 4.3" (109 mm)
  • Total Length: 8.9" (226 mm)
  • Net Weight: 6.2 oz. (177 g)

One of the best Mora models

This the the Mora that checks a lot of boxes for me. It is stainless which makes it great for low maintenance multiple application. It is thicker than other Mora blades and the spine is 90* from the factory. The multiple mount sheath allows versatility for packing and the ergonomics of the handle are acceptable. I think this is a good middle ground between the low and high end Moras in both price and performance. If I only had one Mora, this would be the one.

Love it

This is my third kansbol knife, I absolutely love these. The first two have the regular sheath, so when I discovered the multimount sheath here, I had to get one. Well worth it, so many more attachment options. Now I just wish I knew about these sooner.

Great knife

I didn't buy this knife from here but it needs to be known that this knife is great! I've used it for cleaning trout, fire making, whittling and some other things I have forgotten. Honestly the only "con" I have, which is my personal opinion, is the grind. I'm not a big fan of the weird dual grind they do, but it performs well for what's its intended which is pretty much everything
