Hello, I received the knife about two weeks ago. The knife handle did not resemble anything like what you posted on your site. There was little to no curly. The wood appeared dry without moisture. I am sure that the steel for the blade is of good quality. The sheath was hard as a rock, nothing that a little conditioning won’t resolve. The knife was a gift for my son in law who is a hunter. After reaching out to customer service I was informed that the remaining knives all looked the same, lacking curly. Therefore I did not return the knife knowing that what was left in stock was similar. Yes I was disappointed. I believe that you should inform your customers on the appearance of your products. I know that no two handles will look the same, but what I received was a far cry from what you advertise. I have other products made of curly maple, and as I previously stated what I received was not equivalent to the curly maple that I am accustomed to. This does not mean that I will not order from you again, however there will be much scrutiny in any future orders. Thank you and Merry Christmas 🎄

Straight grain scorpion

98% of the reason I purchased the scorpion is because of the curley tiger maple. I even made a comment about this in the order note, but you still sent me one that had figure on the top only, the bottom half both sides from the rivers down is absolutely all straight grain .

It's been a great knife over the years I have used it for everything from camp chores to battoning 2-3" rounds. I have also butchered deer with it it's quite capable and holds an edge very well.

I really like the handle and blade design. Advertised as curly maple, but you really have to look to see the curl. Only gave 3 stars because of this. My forest tool just pops with curl,

The PKS scorpion is my all time favorite knife!

I have carried the PKS scorpion almost since it was first released. It fits my hand perfectly. I have skinned and butchered animals with it as well as performed many, many woodcrafting projects with it. It has never let me down. I would trust my life to this knife. It is big enough to preform the tasks I need without being too big and unwieldy.
