Awesome

Just got the knife (Dirty by design) and I love it. It came extremely sharp out the box, slices like no other, and lightweight. My intention for this knife is to handle task around the campsite and handle some bushcraft work. However, this knife is more than capable of handling heavier task as well, no doubt! I’ll highly recommend.

Broke in two while batoning-Update

Recieved my replacement today, 4 stars for customer service, cant wait to get out in the field and try the knife, first backpack overnight of the season in 2wks. I will treat this more gingerly, we have some really dense oaks around here that beat up all cutting tools!

This blade has been used to process two Alaska Bull Moose and one Bull Caribou this months season. I really love this blade. PFT knife smiths are turning out top quality blades. Keep it up guys.

I like it.

Just received this blade in the mail today. Overall a good looking blade. The dark wood scales lend a nice business look to it. I wasn't crazy about the lack of sharpness to the edge. I guess I've been spoiled by all the other pathfinder knives I've purchased. Yes I have voided the warranty by changing the scandivex grind to a scandi grind. Now it has the edge I like. SHARP. It is going to caribou and moose camp in a couple days. I plan to put it to work.

Wow

I just received it today. I have not had a chance to test it. But I did measure it. I know it says 3/32 blade thickness but its a fat 3/32. Closer to 1/8 across the spine. It came sharp and the grind looks very consistent across the length of the blade, and the blade was coated with a protective oil, and the blade was shrink-wrap to keep the oil on the blade. Box was well packed i am planning on doing testing later this week. But I have a feeling from my first impressions over the past 2 hours of looking at it, and handling it. This knife will be an excellent performer. I first got a glimpse of it on Sean Kelly (corporals corner) feels really good in the hand. I mean really good!! The only thing is that when I got the email that it was finally available. I got in such a big hurry to get it ordered that forgot to order the sheath. Ill do that tonight. I'll do a follow up review with that and I'll share my thoughts and experience with the knife. Oh one more thing delivery was quicker than expected. 2 thumbs up to the the crew of of the knife shop
